The event starts at 18:30. The venue is \u201eSwingin\u2019hall\u201d, where talented Bulgarian and foreign artists, who will present their original songs, will perform in the cozy atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve artists will compete in the two evenings \u2013 a semifinal and a final \u2013 and the three-member jury comprised of Plamen Sivov (Tochka BG), Vasko Gromkov (the Bulgarian National Television) and a special foreign guest will assess the performances based on the following criteria: music, lyrics, vocals, playing skills and stage presence. There will be recitals by previous festival winners, as well as a rich pre-party program.<\/p>\n<p>\u0422he 8<sup>th<\/sup> edition of Sofia Singer Songwriter Fest is dedicated to Simon &amp; Garfunkel &#8211;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>legendary duo, formed in the late 50s, that influenced singer-songwriters for decades. In 2024, we celebrate the 55<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the composing of the song \u201cBridge over troubled water\u201d by Paul Simon.
